1. Does Youth Juice contain any artificial sweeteners, flavors, or colors?
Answer: There are no artificial sweeteners, flavors, or colors in Youth Juice.
2. How much fruit is contained in each bottle of Youth Juice?
Answer: The retail price of the berries contained in each bottle of Youth Juice exceeds the total price of our product, not allowing for the other ingredients and the manufacturing process.
3. How much Sea Vegetables are in each bottle of Youth Juice?
Answer: Each bottle of YouthJuice™ has enough sea vegetables to maximize the health benefits that they provide with the emphasis on fucoidans.
4. I'm interested in trying Youth Juice, but I have severe allergies. Are there any grains or gluten in Youth Juice?
Answer: There is 100% disclosure on the Youth Juice label - there is no gluten in the product, nor is there any grain.
5. Is Youth Juice FDA approved?
Answer: Youth Juice is a nutritional dietary supplement. The FDA does not approve any nutritional dietary supplement.

7. What is the significance of having 200 mg of Ellagitannins in every bottle of Youth Juice
Answer: Clinical studies show that a daily intake of 20 mg of ellagitannins have the potential to achieve significant health benefits.
8. Why does Youth Juice have 100% of certain vitamins and minerals?
Answer: Because we have specifically designed Youth Juice to address its immune strengthening properties.
9. Can Youth Juice sustain freezing temperatures while being shipped?
Answer: Yes, it can. Testing has been performed at various temperatures to ensure both the product’s integrity and the integrity of the bottle.

10. What are Ellagitannins?
Answer: Ellagitannins are polyphenols which hydrolyze into ellagic acid when ingested. In order to achieve the highest bioavailability of ellagic acid, the Youth Juice production conditions were optimized in a way to facilitate enzymatic and acid hydrolysis of ellagitannins (which are too large to be absorbed into the circulatory system) to generate ellagic acid which can be readily absorbed into the blood stream. The conversion of naturally found ellagitannins into ellagic acid and the bioavailability of ellagic acid were further strengthened by combining ellagic acid with berry puree rich with phenolics and other phytochemicals.
11. What are Fucoidans?
Answer: Fucoidans are the cornerstone of the Asian Traditional Diet. Trials have clearly demonstrated the efficacy of these molecules as immunomodulatory, anticoagulant and antiviral agents. However the activity of Fucoidans are directly associated with their chemical structure, and unfavorable methods of extraction can alter this structure, thus reducing biological activity. Youth Juice contains a pure Fucoidan powder, extracted using a methodology that uses no heat or solvents, and ensuring the extracted Fucoidan is chemically identical to the molecule in the source plant. By using pure fucoidan powder, rather than a generic seaweed water extract ‘rich in fucoidan’, we ensure the dosage of actual fucoidan in Youth Juice is in line with current clinical trials researching fucoidan activity. Therefore Youth Juice is a product sourced and developed from science.
12. What are Phytonutrients?
Answer: Youth Juice contains 37 different Phytonutrients. “Phyto" is Greek for plant. They are naturally-occurring compounds that contribute to the flavor, color, and disease-resistance in plants (fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes). Most are antioxidants that benefit humans by enhancing immunity.
13. What does "Glycemic Index" mean? What is the Glycemic Index of Youth Juice?
Answer: The Glycemic Index (GI) of foods compares their ability to release glucose into the blood within 2-3 hours after consumption with that of an equal amount of glucose which has a Glycemic Index of 100.
Any food with a Glycemic Index (GI) below 56 is considered low.
The Glycemic index (GI) of Youth Juice is 15, which is much lower than other beverage products available on the market today.
14. What is an antioxidant?
Answer: Cells in humans and other organisms are constantly exposed to a variety of oxidizing agents, some of which are necessary for life. These agents may be present in air, food, and water or they may be produced by metabolic activities within cells. Overproduction of oxidants can cause an imbalance, leading to oxidative stress (Liu, 2003). Oxidative stress can cause oxidative damage to large biomolecules such as proteins, DNA, and lipids, resulting in an increasing risk for cancer and cardiovascular disease. As indicated by Ames and Gold (1991), a sufficient amount of antioxidants such as phenolics, carotinoids, and anthocyanins need to be consumed in order to prevent or slow down the oxidative stress induced by free radicals.
15. What is ORAC?
Answer: ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity and it is a measurement of antioxidant capacity of foods, beverages and nutraceuticals.
16. What is the advantage of slow pasteurization?
Answer: Slow pasteurization preserves the flavor, taste and color as well it maintains the highest levels of nutritional integrity
17. What is the daily requirement of antioxidants?
Answer: According to USDA, research team at Tufts University, at least 2400 to 3000 ORAC per day is needed to provide meaningful antioxidant health benefits.
18. What is the ORAC value of Youth Juice serving?
Answer: Antioxidant Capacity of Youth Juice is 13,000 ORAC units/100ml. One 95ml serving of Youth Juice provides 12350 ORAC units.
19. Why has the word "Organic" on the website been replaced recently with the word "Natural"?
Answer: The berries in Youth Juice have traditionally been sourced from organic berry farms.
Recent and pending changes to US and Canadian regulations will require that all labels of any product using the term “organic” have that removed from the labels. The new laws state that only “certified organic” products can use the term “organic” on the labelling. All of the farmers currently growing berries under organic conditions must go through 3 to 4 year onerous and costly process to become "certified organic” and some of them simply cannot afford to become certified. They are now required to stop using the term "organic" with regard to their produce.
The rapidly increasing demand for Youth Juice, and the new organic certification requirement for all seven berries, would require OWN to begin sourcing "certified organic berries" from outside of the pristine northwest. We are reluctant to change from our current and trusted sources.
As a result, the Youth Juice label and promotional material will be changed in the near future to reflect "naturally grown berries." We will continue to use the same trusted berry sources which will continue to grow their berries under the same organic conditions. And the berries and Youth Juice will continue to be produced and processed with the most stringent GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards in a facility that is licensed to process certified organic ingredients. As always, every batch of Youth Juice is thoroughly tested for any harmful trace elements. 30. Standard shipping says 3 to 7 days. Does this mean business days or total days?
Answer: Shipping days are always regarded as business days, therefore STANDARD shipping is 3 to 7 business days and EXPRESS is 2 to 3 business days. Please not that this does not count the first 24 hours within which the order is placed.
